I believe in making a difference through my art work, I seek to act as a messenger, alerting people all over the world to the deterioration of the global environment, and to the need, as well, for greater understanding and respect for the world's diverse cultures.

The earth's irreplaceable treasures are steadily being eroded, but each of us, Collectively and as individuals, can make a difference and must.

This is my message.

Christian Riese Lassen believes in making a difference through his art work and seeks to act as a messenger for the preservation of our world. Therefore, he has established “Sea Vision Foundation” and the “Lassen International Foundation” as a way to contribute and to help support our Earth’s fragile ecology and its people in need. For his efforts, he was chosen by the United Nations in 1998 to create a commemorative stamp for ocean preservation. He was also given the honor as a goodwill ambassador for their International Year of the Ocean for the same year. Today he continues his mission with increased determination due to the rapid effects of global warming on the Earth's ecosystem.

Because this is very important to us, a portion of the sales and products from the Lassen Fine Poster Collection will be donated to the Sea Vision Foundation to help carry out Christian's mission. Profits from the Lassen Mini Art Collection will also be used to help and bring hope to many less fortunate children and families here in the United States and internationally.
